Nicole Coste combines Parisian flair, Cote D’Azur chic, London cosmopolitanism and black soul like no other designer. Influenced by her environments in France and London, her designs truly channel the exceptional. Her passion for garments originates from her childhood where she enjoyed dress making and engaging with exotic materials and fabrics.
Her designs exude a heart palpating beauty. Strong evoking textures are masterfully balanced in a result that is both classic and contemporary. Whether it is in a flowing dress or an elegantly tapered jacket her designs allude to a golden age of cinema whilst emanating a confident modernity. She has an enchanting imagination that she applies to each design until it satisfies her meticulously high standards. Recently her designs have been worn by the singer Jamelia attending the Nelson Mandela film premiere, “Skyfall” actress Helen McCrory during the announcement of the BAFTA nominations 2014 and Dita Von Teese for ELLE Norway.
Surprising, seductive and evocative of a spirit that is resolutely in line with couture, her collections illustrate the savoir-faire of a brand that is growing in profile each season.
